Update at 3:15 PM Eastern Time, Thursday, August 1, 2019: We continue to experience delays with sending or accepting Interac e-Transfers. Customers may see the following error message when trying to access their Interac account to send or deposit funds: “There was a problem communicating with INTERAC. Please try again later.” Central1 and Interac are investigating the issue on both ends.
We are experiencing intermittent issues with mobile cheque deposit in the EQ Bank Mobile Banking App on Android and iOS. Customers may need to make several attempts in order to deposit the cheque successfully. Customers can also make a deposit by mailing their cheque to the EQ Bank office for processing. Our technical team is investigating. We apologize for the inconvenience.
